Sinead is Head of Nursing with the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. She has worked for the charity for over ten years working both with families and as a nurse manager.
She is a Registered Children’s and General Nurse for nearly twenty years. She has many years of experience working in both the hospital and community settings. She gained her paediatric experience in the Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street, Dublin and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Louth. She worked as a Community Public Health Nurse and was involved their vaccination programmes for children while also providing hands on care in the community. She also worked in Australia for over a year.
She has also received a Higher Diploma in Risk Management from UCD in 2003 and in November 2015 was awarded a Master of Science with distinction in Palliative and Complex Care in Children, Young People and Families from Coventry University.
