Anne is a Liaison Nurse Manager with The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation since 2004.
Anne qualified as a Registered Children's Nurse and a General Nurse in 1990, having completed the 4-year integrated course in OLCHC and Connolly Hospital, Dublin. Anne worked as a Staff Nurse in Connolly Hospital after qualification, but soon returned OLCHC and remained there as a Senior Staff Nurse for 4 years on St. Michael's Ward. Anne then moved to St. Joseph's School for the Visually Impaired in Dublin (now Child Vision) as the School Nurse for 4 years.
She also worked for a time as a Night Nurse for The Irish Cancer Society. During this time, she completed the course in Children and Loss, IHF, Dublin.
On relocation to Dundalk, she continued to work as a Daffodil Night Nurse, until joining The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation.
She received a Master’s in Bereavement Studies from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in November 2012.
