As part of the Up the Hill for Jack and Jill 2022 campaign, Jack and Jill have this year put together a fantastic photo competition, giving budding photographers an opportunity to have their work judged by some of Ireland’s top photographers.
We are delighted to announce that World Landscape Photographer of the Year 2021 Felix Sproll, has kindly agreed to join Team Jack and Jill to head up a three-person judging panel for this inaugural photography competition.
Felix, a native of Mayo, is a highly accomplished photographer and videographer and has been capturing images from quite an early age. And if being crowned the world’s landscape photographer of the year wasn’t bona fides enough for you, just a few swipes of Felix’s Instagram account are enough to make you understand why he won this seriously impressive accolade.
What’s more, and what we felt made Felix such a fantastic choice to judge this competition for Jack and Jill, is that he is also an outdoorsman, known for documenting his hiking and travel exploits for many years, in amazing style.
It was that connection, between hiking, mountains, and photography that made Felix the perfect fit for the #UptheHill22 photography competition.
