Órla Memorial 5k – 25th September 2010 at Ards Forest Park
The Órla Memorial 5k 2010, thanks to continued support from so many people, who came to remember my darling daughter Órla, has raised €17,000 for 3 amazing causes; The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, The Jennifer Trust for SMA and the Paediatric Physiotherapy at Letterkenny General Hospital.
It is without doubt that people continue to give so generously because they want to support the crucial work that these services offer children like Órla and their families, at a time when they are in must need.
The organising committee and my family would like to extend a huge thank you to all who helped in any way including all or sponsors.
I would also like to thank all who helped organise our fund raising night which was held in the Log Cabin by the Doyle Family and Mary Trearty raising €2, 400. Thank you also to all who volunteered at our bag packing day. We hope to see you all next year!
