The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation is now seeking a high performing Head of Communications and Fundraising to help us to drive the charity forward with pride and purpose.
Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will lead a team of six, in addition to two external web and PR resources and will spearhead the charity’s corporate partnership drive. S/he will be responsible for setting, meeting and exceeding agreed fundraising targets and objectives within the organisation and will play a key role on the senior management team at Jack & Jill.
The charity invites candidates with a proven track record of successful campaign management and communications, across digital and traditional media platforms, and who are passionate about leveraging Jack & Jill’s local and national reach in creating, managing and growing its communications and fundraising strategy.
Jack & Jill is seeking someone with exceptional experience of motivating a team, winning major business pitches, managing partnerships and key stakeholder relationships, and a proven track record in communications and fundraising at a strategic level, with a real understanding of the importance of digital communications.
The Head of Communications and Fundraising will have strong experience in both communications and sales/fundraising, will be solution-focused, and have an excellent story-telling ability, both verbal and written. Additionally, the post-holder will be self-motivated and passionate about Jack & Jill’s purpose. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years’ relevant experience, having achieved senior management status already.
