The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation fully supports Jonathan Irwin’s bid to get elected to the Seanad, as an independent candidate under the banner of Jack & Jill
HOMECARE
Jonathan’s healthcare manifesto focuses specifically on the money following the patient into the home, and supporting the carers in the process, something that our Jack & Jill model of homecare demonstrates since 1997, rather than aspires to.
MEDICAL CARDS
Granting medical cards to children with life limiting and life threatening conditions, like those supported by Jack & Jill, in their own right in their own name, with no need to means test their parents is a key priority for Jonathan.
NATIONAL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
He will also shine a light on the flawed location that is St. James’ for the National Children’s Hospital and why locating the hospital in Blanchardstown makes much more sense in terms of access, co-location with the Rotunda, expansion, cost and speed of build.
A VOICE FOR JACK & JILL CHILDREN
Having a voice in the Seanad will have real benefit for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation and the 290 children and their families currently under our wing.
In terms of administration and postage costs regarding the Seanad campaign, Jonathan Irwin is covering that expense personally.
