Jonathan Irwin, CEO and Founder of the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation, welcomes the charity’s new partnership with Topaz which gives Topaz and Re.Store customers the opportunity to donate their 1 and 2 cent coins at over 340 counter-top sale and on-site collection points across the country.
The goal of the Topaz 3 year partnership with Jack & Jill is to raise over €400,000 to support home nursing care hours for sick children nationwide.
Welcoming the partnership, Jonathan Irwin, CEO of Jack & Jill said: “This fundraising drive by Topaz will really put the jingle into our Christmas fundraising by giving people the opportunity to donate their small change, all those 1 and 2 cent coins, to Jack & Jill and in so doing make a big change in terms of real impact. If and when we do reach the €400,000 target this money will fund a whopping 25,000 home nursing hours. Socially, this partnership also means a lot to the families we support by reminding them that others care and, most importantly, that they are not alone. We are delighted to be the new charity partner for such an iconic brand as Topaz and I want to thank the staff for choosing Jack & Jill. Every €16 raised will fund one hour of home nursing care for a sick child and what’s raised locally stays locally.”
Margaret Barron, Marketing Director of Topaz said: “It’s impossible to fully comprehend the challenges faced by families across Ireland with children affected by severe neurological issues. However, the work of the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation provides invaluable support to those who are in need of a helping hand. We’re delighted to extend our support to this very worthy cause which we believe will change many lives for the better.”
