The Maynooth Students for Charity opened registration for this iconic fundraising charity cycle at the official launch at the NUI campus in Maynooth and Jack & Jill are absolutely delighted and indeed very honoured to be the beneficiary charity for the 2013 event on 22nd-24th March.
Joined by the winner of RTE’s The Voice of Ireland, Pat Byrne, himself a past graduate of NUI Maynooth, Pat was tempted to sing a few bars to help spread the word to encourage cycling enthusiasts including both past and present students to get on their bikes for the round trip of 400km. There are training sessions organised before the event so there is plenty of time to prepare and get fit for this fantastic weekend filled with lots of fun, frolics and fundraising along the route from Maynooth to Galway.
To register and for further information log onto www.galwaycycle.ie and help us help Maynooth Students for Charity to raise vital home nursing hours for our sick children in every community in Ireland.
