The winning ticket was very kindly picked by the Mayor of Athlone, Councillor Alan Shaw, at Millar’s Bar, Ballydangan on Friday 9th March 2012.
There was a fantastic turnout for the raffle by locals, Jack & Jill families and supporters to meet Jonathan Irwin, CEO, local nurse Cathy Keighery and some of the Jack & Jill team. A wonderful night was had by all with entertainment and food kindly sponsored by Gerry Kelly and Mary Kelly, Millars Bar.
We would like to thank everyone who supported this campaign by purchasing a ticket for “Daisy”.
Our special thanks to CHARLIE NEVIN who so kindly gifted us with “Daisy” to help raise funding for Jack & Jill children and who supported this campaign since last May…… Daisy raised over €13,000 which equates to home nursing care for one Jack & Jill child for a year….. a truly fantastic achievement!
