With €370,000 raised to date, Circle K and the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation will raise at least €500,000 through the partnership, which will provide over 27,000 hours of in-home nursing and respite care for Jack and Jill families in communities across Ireland
Jack and Jill are delighted to announce that Circle K it has extended its partnership for another year. The now three-year partnership will see at least €500,000 raised for the charity through several fundraising campaigns at participating sites nationwide.
The announcement also marks €370,000 raised to date by Circle K for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. The funds have been raised through various campaigns such as ‘miles for Jack and Jill’ and the brand’s annual Christmas car wash initiative, where €1 from every car wash sale the week before Christmas is donated to the charity. These campaigns have resulted in the provision of over 20,000 hours of in-home nursing care and respite support to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation to date.
By extending the partnership, Circle K is demonstrating its commitment to doing all it can to support the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. The vital work that the charity does, enables many families in communities across Ireland to care for their child at home. The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is dedicated to delivering in-home nursing, respite support and end-of-life care for children from birth to six years of age who have highly complex and life-limiting medical conditions.
Recently the Jack and Jill’s Children Foundation reached the significant milestone of providing support to 3,000 families since it was set up in 1997. There are currently over 400 children under the care of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation and across the country and the charity’s mission is to empower parents to care for their child at home, because there is no care like home care for a Jack and Jill child.

Our partnership with Circle K is of huge importance and value to Team Jack and Jill, not only in the incredible amount of funds raised to date, but also through the dedicated, passionate and caring Circle K staff who, time and time again, go above and beyond to support us.
From innovative LEGO Bricks4Care recycling initiatives in-store to Christmas Car Wash fundraisers with Stephanie Roche, to introducing us to new potential corporate partners, to taking on our abseil challenge and volunteering in our warehouse and at Family Day; this dynamic team know the value of a true partnership!
It will take approximately €7.5M to fund and provide our vital in-home nursing care service and end-of-life support in 2024, with an estimated €1.7M of our funding coming from the HSE. That’s approximately 22%. We need ongoing supporters to fund our ongoing care commitment of up to six years per child and family. However, this is a real challenge against the backdrop of the current cost of living crisis and increased charity appeals putting huge pressure on our fundraising model.
