‘Home’ is synonymous with Christmas, a chance to gather with family and friends to celebrate, unwind and enjoy all the magic that the festive season brings. However, for many Jack and Jill families it can be a time of uncertainty, and their biggest Christmas wish is simply have their child at home with their family, where they belong.
Without the generosity of donors and partners, we would be unable to provide our vital service of in-home nursing care and respite support to families caring for children with severe learning disability often associated with complex medical needs, as well as our end-of-life care.
So far in 2024, Jack and Jill has supported 521 families in communities across Ireland and we continue to take on new families every week, meaning the demand on our service has never been greater. This Christmas we ask you to consider making a donation or purchasing from our Christmas Collection to ensure families just like the Johnstons from Limerick, the McHughs from Kildare and the Inglis’ from Meath continue to get this important care, support and service that they, and their child, deserve.
