The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is most honoured and thankful to mum, Caroline Kennedy, as the recipient of a wonderful donation of €2,650. Caroline, who so sadly and tragically lost her two little girls, Aoife and Aine within years of each other, set up The Aoife and Aine Kennedy Memorial Fund in a bid to make some sense of such a catastrophic loss and to keep the memory of her little angels alive. Through their charity they help save the lives of other children through fundraising and kindly donating to other charities and hospitals to provide support and necessary hospital equipment.
Last October Caroline organised a Halloween ball in memory of Aoife and Aine and in aid of Jack & Jill and Cottage Autism. The event was a wonderful success due to the endless hard work of this tireless mum and raised a fantastic €2,650 for our Foundation which equates into 165 home nursing hours for Jack and Jill children in the community. To date we have supported over 1600 children throughout Ireland including 76 in the Wexford area and 33 in the Wicklow area……. our heartfelt thanks to Caroline and her angels.
