The InterContinental Hotel, Dublin, was full of Christmas sparkle as over 280 glamorous guests came together for the Jack and Jill Christmas lunch, raising vital funds to help support over 400 Jack and Jill families nationwide, currently under the charity’s care.
With Ryanair as the title sponsor and generous backing from Lily O’Brien’s, Emerald Park and Augustus Cullen Law, this year’s event was a true celebration of community and care. Held on the poignant first anniversary of Jack and Jill Founder Jonathan Irwin’s passing, the day began with a heartfelt tribute led by Jack and Jill CEO Deirdre Walsh, accompanied by a moving video montage celebrating Jonathan’s remarkable legacy.
Hosted by the ever-elegant Síle Seoige, the afternoon unfolded with an air of magic, featuring a fabulous raffle and auction that brought both excitement and generosity to the room. Guests were spellbound by magician Shane Byrne, whose jaw-dropping illusions were the talk of the day, and the Dublin Gospel Choir, who uplifted everyone with their joyful renditions of festive favourites.
Adding a touch of style to the sparkle, renowned Irish fashion designer Don O’Neill took on the task of selecting the best dressed of the day—a challenge in a room brimming with elegance and glamour.
The Christmas lunch was a resounding success, raising significant funds to support the work of Jack and Jill. A sincere thank you to all who attended and contributed to this unforgettable afternoon of glamour, generosity and festive joy.
