“We were bringing her home to live, not to die”
This is the headline of today’s article in the Irish Times by Sheila Wayman featuring a Jack & Jill family down in Co Wexford. As well as showcasing an emotional and powerful story of what day-to-day life for such a family really means, the article also marks the decision made by the Jack & Jill Foundation to extend the End-of-Life Care Service to all babies under four years of age with any condition.
