Celebrities join Senator Mary Ann O’Brien co-founder of Jack & Jill and John O’Leary, Dublin GAA Legend whose son Tom is supported by the Foundation to launch this nationwide Easter fundraising campaign which offers professional portraits for just €25 with 100% of the proceeds going to Jack & Jill
Target is to get 3,200 people to participate thus raising €80,000 to fund 5,000 home nursing care hours for families nationwide with children with severe developmental delay as a result of brain damage.
Miriam O’Callaghan, Lottie Ryan, Evanne NiChuilinn, Martin King and Brendan O’Connor joined Senator Mary Ann O’Brien, co-founder of the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation and John O’Leary, Dublin GAA Legend whose son Tom is supported by the Foundation in the Merrion Hotel on Monday 25th February to launch IPPA Happy Faces in association with Canon. The way the campaign works is that, throughout Easter week from 30th March to 6th April 2013, members of the public can have their professional portrait done for €25 from their local participating IPPA (Irish Professional Photographers’ Association) photographer who gives their time free with 100% of the proceeds going to the Jack & Jill.

People can check out their local participating IPPA photographers on: www.happyfaces.ie and see what they are planning for this very special fundraiser over Easter. Last year, the campaign raised €80,000 for the Jack & Jill children’s Foundation and the IPPA photographers are hoping to equal this target again this year, by persuading at least 3,200 happy faces to participate. IPPA Happy Faces is the annual fundraising project, now in its eighth year, organised by the Irish Professional Photographers’ Association (IPPA).
