As part of his annual fundraising target of €10,000 for The Jack & Jill Foundation, David Riordan is holding a Table Quiz Night on Thursday 19th April in The Hampton Hotel, Donnybrook. Tickets are €15 each (or €60 for a table of 4) with fantastic prizes on the night!

The main event in this fundraising campaign is taking part of the infamous Marathon Des Sables in April 2013 – a 7 day, 254km race across the dunes of the Sahara Desert as seen on the Discovery Channel: the only support received is bottled water; running with ALL the food, hob and clothing on the back, which doesn’t really help :); running and sleeping in the same gear the entire week; average temperatures: 120 degrees Fahrenheit; the run on day 5 is over 80km.
