VHI Mini Marathon 2023

“Had another amazing day again this year at the VHI Mini Marathon in aid of Jack and Jill. This was my sixth year doing the mini marathon in remembrance of our beloved son Isaac who gained his angel wings 6 and half years ago. Jack and Jill were were a godsend for 3 years so we know first hand the amazing work they do. I will be forever grateful to them and all the nurses for taking care of our BusterBoo a few hours every week. 💕”

Cork City Marathon 2023

We are so happy to have completed the Cork City Marathon 2023 in aid of Jack and Jill. We know our donations are going to a fantastic cause.

VHI Women's Mini Marathon

Every year, a group of inspiring women take on the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon to raise much needed funds for Jack and Jill families. One such inspirational lady was Ann Little;
“My background is Neonatal nursing, so I have seen the impact on families of having a sick child. As a Jack and Jill nurse being able to give the family a well-deserved break & being able to look after the child at home is very rewarding. Knowing that I am making a difference to the family”.

Saoleile

Billy, Dan and their team walked the three highest peaks in Múscraí for The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. Saoleile created this community event that TG4 supported by featuring in June.

McDonagh family walk from Tuam to Knock

Jack and Jill family, Mike and Valerie McDonagh, together with their three children – Brandon, Michael and Krystle – walked from Tuam in Co. Galway to Knock in Co. Mayo in memory of baby Chelsie. Supported by family and friends along the way they raised much needed funds for families locally.

SPINATHON

In September, the team from the Osprey Leisure Club hosted a SPINATHON to raise funds for Jack and Jill. Together the team and participants cycled 172km, great result and achievement from all who participated.

Abseil

34 brave souls participated in the Abseil in Croke Park. On board with our Abseilers we had Dublin All Ireland Wining Heroes participating to name a few Paddy Andrews, Bernard Brogan, Bernard Brogan Snr, Paul Brogan and of course or Brand Ambassador Eamon Fennell. Jack and Jill Nurse Anne McLoughlin flew down the Abseil along with our Jack and Jill Mum Nina Fitzpatrick, they both equally made the Abseil look very easy. We also had a very strong competitive team on board from Permanent TSB.
