A message from Jack & Jill CEO, Carmel Doyle.
Dear Supporters,
First and foremost, thank you for your continued support through this difficult time. In a matter of weeks, we’ve had a drastic fall in our fundraising income, with this Corona Virus closing our charity shops and cancelling so many fundraisers.
Despite this, we must and will keep Jack & Jill’s vital home nursing care support going for our 340 families around the country who depend on us. Our nurses and carers continue to visit the families who need us, including those requiring end of life care, while those in self isolation are receiving all important phone nursing support.
I’m glad to say that our Incognito art sale is one fundraiser that hasn’t been cancelled, with the collection now online for viewing at www.incognito.ie and the sale happening on Friday 24th April. Remember each piece of original art, all postcard size, costs €50 but you won’t know the identity of the artist until after you buy the art! With many well-known artists and a few rock stars involved, this is an amazing opportunity to buy a prized painting or simply a piece of artwork that you love while also supporting Jack & Jill. So enjoy the collection and please tell all your friends.
As a charity we are resilient, just like the families we support and our founder Jonathan Irwin who never let any crisis stand in his way. At a time like this, we are all reminded of the importance of family and community. Thank you for being part of ours.
