We are delighted to announce that Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation are one of 5 charities selected to be part of the 2020 Permanent TSB Community Fund.
The Community Fund is a localised giving programme that will see a total of €100k distributed between five worthy Charites across Ireland throughout 2020
In December 2019, Permanent TSB asked the public to vote for their favourite charity and an astonishing 20,000 votes were cast across Ireland for a number of charities.
Announcing the five winners, Courtnee Kyle, Corporate Social Responsibility & Communications Manager, Permanent TSB, said, “20,000 votes is an incredible number and far exceeded our expectations. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote from every corner of the country. The Permanent TSB Community Fund will support local communities by providing funding to community organisations that are having a positive and meaningful impact on the ground and who are working hard to make a difference. ”
Speaking after the announcement, Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation CEO Carmel Doyle said. “We are delighted to be voted in as one of Permanent TSB’s selected charities and I want to thank every single person who voted for the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation. This €20,000 award will fund a bank of 1,250 specialist home nursing hours for the 350 extra special children under our wing today, including our 85 families in Dublin. Jack & Jill is a national charity with a local reach and ours is a 365 home nursing service for children with neurodevelopmental delay from birth to 5 years of age. Our presence in homes & communities across Ireland is vital for our families and we want to thank the Permanent TSB community for supporting our community.”
